After the operation of the 'Dawa Bazar Water Supply' project in Municipality-4 Dawa here, the locals have been relieved. After the water supply and sanitation division office constructed 'one house and one stream' in 50 houses here, the locals have been relieved. Kamal Pradhan, chairman of Construction Consumer Committee, informed that after the completion of the project, the water problem has been solved in Dawa Bazar area.
He said that after the completion of the project, water is being distributed to 50 houses here. President Pradhan said, 'Dawa water supply project has been put into operation. We have succeeded in connecting water to 50 houses through this project. Now there is no water problem in this area.'
Ashutosh Thakur, Head of Water Supply and Sanitation Division Office, Bhojpur, said that with the completion of the Dawa Bazar water supply project, the water problem of the locals has ended for years. According to Chief Thakur, the project was constructed at a cost of around 60 lakhs for the office. According to the office, the main line of this project is 4 km and the distribution line is 4.5 km.
'Dawa water supply project has been put into operation,' Chief Thakur said, 'After the operation of the project, the water problem of the citizens here has been removed for years. We have also done on-site monitoring of this project.' According to Chief Thakur, construction of drinking water projects is going on in different places of the district to solve the water problem. Lakshmi Bhandari, a local resident, said that after the Dawa Bazar water supply project came into operation, she was freed from the problem of having to draw water for hours.
He says that the situation of having to stand in line since midnight to fetch water from distant streams and wells has come to an end.'There was a lot of water problem in Dawa area,' he said, 'It used to take us a long time to get water. Now that the electricity has been connected to every house, our generational problem has been solved.' He said that after the water supply was connected to the house, the daily work of the house became easier along with cleanliness.
