Kepilasgarhi rural municipality has passed a decision to propose to divide the ward. The village assembly held on Monday passed a decision to propose the restructuring of Ward No. 1 Fedi of the municipality.

Village Chairman Samir Rai said that due to the large geography, scattered settlements and the problems in development and construction as well as inconvenience to the locals, it was decided to propose the ward for restructuring. Ward chairman Nirkumar Rai has said that half of the former 9, 8, 7, 6 are being made into a new ward.

It has been decided to place the proposed ward office in Sumde according to Ward President Rai. There will be 8 wards in Kepilasgarhi including new ones. 

The rural municipality has released a budget of 500 million 759 thousand 773 rupees for the financial year 2082/83. A budget of 81 million 1 lakh for financial equalization, 854 million 9273 million for revenue distribution, 21 million 27 million for conditional grant, and 346 million 46 million for supplementary grant has been presented.

3 crore 19 lakhs for special grants, 68 lakhs 64 thousand for financial equalization under grants received from the state government, 59 lakhs 5 thousand for revenue distribution, 1 crore 47 lakhs 81 thousand for conditional grants. An annual budget of 16 million for supplementary grants, 35 million for internal revenue and 90 million for last year's balance has been made.
