Two persons from Kathmandu and Lamjung have been arrested from Bhadrapur along with drug brown sugar.
Two persons were arrested while checking a car numbered Bagmati Pradesh 01-030 Ch 7793 coming from India to Nepal at Customs Chowk located in Bhadrapur-5.
According to Jhapa Police, the arrestees are 24-year-old Nisheva Kunwar of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26 and 22-year-old Nozina Rana Magar of Lamjung Kalasotar Rural Municipality-7. According to the police, 47.690 grams of brown sugar was found with them.
Kunwar, who was arrested, was secretly bringing the amount of drugs in the driver's seat. Khagendra Bahadur Khadka, the spokesperson of Jhapa Police, informed that they were arrested and brought to the district court for 5 days for investigation.
'They were seen in the border area before . They were suspicious in the eyes of the police. This time they have come with a car. We took it into custody after we found brown sugar during the check, he said.
