A technician died due to electrocution in Solu Dudhkunda Municipality-11 Tingla of Solukhumbu.
35-year-old Robin Basnet of Solududhakund Municipality-7, Vandhyakark, who was injured while working on the transformer of an electric pole, died in Phaplu Hospital during treatment.
On Saturday around 1 o'clock in the afternoon, Basnet was electrocuted while repairing the transformer of the central electricity transmission line located in Ghunsa, Solu Dudhkunda municipality-11. Basnet, who was seriously injured due to electric shock, was immediately taken to District Hospital, Phaplu.
Chief DSP Manojit Kunwar of District Police Office Solukhumbu informed that he died in the afternoon during treatment. He was working as an electrical technician through Garudh Security Service.
