One person died when a passenger bus and a motorcycle collided on Damak-7 East-West Highway on Wednesday evening.

Milan Thapa, a motorcyclist, was seriously injured when the bus No. Me1K 3027 going from Damak to Kerkha collided with the motorcycle No. 01-02-052 P 2211 coming from the opposite direction.

Khagendra Bahadur Khadka, Information Officer of Jhapa District Police Office, informed that he died during the treatment after being taken to Arya Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar. 

After the accident, the bus driver, Sarkar Tudu, who lives in Gauradah-4, Jhapa, and both vehicles have been seized by the police.
