In Makalu Rural Municipality-2 of the district, a house was destroyed by a landslide that came along with the rain. The house of a local Phunurbu Sherpa was completely damaged when the landslide that came with the incessant rain fell on the house on Tuesday.
Police Inspector Abhishek Shrestha of the District Police Office informed that the two-storied house made of Sherpa stone, mud and wood was completely damaged. According to him, there was no human or livestock damage due to the landslide.

A few days ago, due to the floods that came with the rains, electricity supply was cut off in 250 houses in Bhotkhola rural municipality in the northern region. The flood swept away two hydropowers of Bhotkhola-3.
