Bhedetar Ravi Ranke road, which was blocked due to incessant rain, has been blocked again by landslides. It is reported that the Bhedetar-Dandabazar road under the Bhedetar-Ravi-Ranke road section has been blocked since Tuesday morning due to a large landslide in Lumphajung of Sangurigarhi Rural Municipality-5 of Dhankuta.

Due to heavy rain on Friday night, landslides occurred in Dandabazar, Lumphajung, Kuhibhir and Dhadedanda under Bhedetar-Ravi-Ranke road. Due to which the road was blocked. According to the police, the road which was operational since Monday afternoon after the landslide was removed was blocked by a huge landslide in Lumphajung last night.

Meanwhile, Jitendra Rumdali Rai, Chairman of Sangurigarhi Rural Municipality, said that the Bhedetar-Ravi-Ranke road was blocked due to a big landslide in Lumphajung near Danda Bazar. He said that until the landslide on the road is removed, an alternative route should be used. The distance between Bhedetar-Dandabazar under construction is about 12 km. To widen the width of the road, the soil cutting work is going on in full swing. As soon as it rains, landslides occur and roads are blocked.
