Sankhuwasabha police have arrested two people on the charge of raping two teenage girls. 35-year-old Tufan Rai of Chichila rural municipality-2 of Sankhuwasabha and 28-year-old Prakash Rai of the same rural municipality-3 have been arrested, said DSP Daksh Kumar Basnet of Sankhuwasabha district police office.
They have been accused of having raped them by taking them to a hotel in Khandbari by putting them on a motorcycle to eat lunch and go for a walk.
They came to visit Khandbari market on 7th of June. Police Inspector Abhishek Kumar Shrestha said that the 16- and 17-year-old girls were arrested after a complaint was filed against Lalife.
After receiving a complaint from two teenage girls, the police arrested them on Sunday and started investigation.
