Today's meeting of the Koshi Provincial Assembly passed the annual policy and program by a majority. The policy and program presented by Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki was passed by majority.

The meeting rejected the amendment proposal jointly submitted by members Gombu Sherpa and Khinu Limbu. 46 members participated in the discussion on policies and programs.

Chief Minister Karki requested to pass policies and programs and said that the government is committed to building a 'clean, happy and prosperous state'. He said that it is the priority of the provincial government to strengthen the federal democratic republican governance system and said that policy and institutional reforms will be made to expand the range of revenue, financial governance and sustainable management of resources for development.
