The bus has been handed over to the Jamia Islamia Madrasah in Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality-4 here. Alam Ansari, Ward President of Rural Municipality-2 informed that the bus was formally handed over to the school administration during a program on Wednesday.
He said that the buses purchased by local residents were collected and handed over to the school. Village Chairman Ajmal Akhtar Azad handed over the bus key to School Principal Samim Akhtar Falahi.
Thanking the local residents for collecting donations and handing over buses to the school, he opined that this is a historic step towards promoting education. 'We have made a commitment to make the rural municipality education-friendly. Accordingly, such programs have been prioritized to improve educational quality through collaboration between the government and the private sector,' he said.
The principal of the school, Falahi, said that now there will be some relief for the children who come from far away because of the lack of vehicles in the school.
'Since the school did not have its own vehicle, students coming from far away used to use private, friends or public vehicles to study. Now there will be some relief. Thank you to everyone who helped for this,' he said.
