A child died due to lightning in Katari municipality. Ward president Naveen Tamang informed that 13-year-old boy Chitra Bahadur Valampaki Magar of Katari-8 Phulbari has died.
Chitra, who had gone to graze goats on Monday afternoon, did not return home till evening and was found collapsing when he went to search in the evening.
'Even though the goat came in the evening, the father went to look for Man Bahadur after his son did not come', Ward President Tamang said.
Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police Kamal Bajgai informed that the incident will be further investigated.
