An industrial exhibition and Dhankuta tourism festival will be organized in Dhankuta under the auspices of the Federation of Nepal Domestic and Small Industries.
It was informed in the press conference held on Tuesday that the festival will be held from May 23 to June 5. Vijay Santoshi Rai, coordinator of the festival organizing committee, said that the festival will be organized with the slogan 'Koshi's pride, pride of the mountains, respect for all in the year of tourism'. On this occasion, it is said that promotion of domestic products and tourism and special dishes of caste will be included.
Since Koshi province has been declared as tourism year, it is expected to be supported by the festival, said Rai, the coordinator of the program. Rajeshwar Bahadur Shrestha, president of Federation of Domestic and Small Industries, Dhankuta, said that there will be exhibition and sales distribution of products produced by small and domestic industries as well as entertaining presentations at the festival. There will be 35 stalls selling homemade products and local food at the
fair. The organizers expect that domestic tourists will see a business worth 1 crore and spend 2.5 million. It is said that the support of Koshi state government and all seven municipalities of the district will be there for the celebration.
