Khandbari municipality 9 jeep going to Hille from Tumlingtar has fallen into Arun river.
According to DSP Daksh Kumar Basnet who reached the spot, the jeep was going towards Dhankuta. According to him, the vehicle went out of control after hitting a pedestrian in Dharmadevi Municipality-8 Surtibari on Monday afternoon at 3:55.
The vehicle has drowned in the Arun river. He said that three people in the vehicle were rescued. He said that the number and location of the vehicle has yet to be ascertained. Detailed information about the accident has not been received.
