One person was killed in Sabhapokhari rural municipality-5 Khushibung when a gun carried by a friend went off while chasing a monkey. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Daksh Kumar Basnet of the District Police Office said that 25-year-old Kumar Limbu died.
Police initially suspect that Kumar may have been killed by a bullet from a friend's gun when he suddenly slipped and fell while chasing a monkey in the forest. He was shot in the lower back area. DSP Basnet said that two people have been detained and further investigation is being done regarding the
incident. After the death of Limbu, the two people who went together informed Bahbise police station on Friday. Police have not released the names of the two arrested persons as they are being investigated.
