The federal government is going to provide a belay bridge for the Feme River at Fidim Nangin Phalout Marg, which was swept away by the flood caused by the incessant rains in the month of October.
The responsibility of transporting and connecting the bridge provided by the federal government for crossing the Feme River, which separates the borders of Fidim Municipalities 1 and 11, will have to be borne by the Koshi State Government.
The bridge here was swept away by the flood that came with the incessant rain on October 12th. After the bridge was washed away, vehicles and transport are being diverted through Hrium pipe. The federal government has agreed to provide Beilibridge after the local people's representatives and parliamentarians repeatedly pointed out that if the bridge is not built in this place, which has been full of diversions throughout the winter, the road will be blocked after the rains again.
The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport under the Federal Government has written a letter to provide the said Belybridge to the Koshi Provincial Government as per the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 9th May.
Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Ramesh Prasad Paudel, has written a letter to the Koshi state government and asked them to bear the cost of bridge transportation and connection provided by the federal government.
Although it is certain that the federal government will provide the belibridge, the Koshi state government has not started the process for transportation and connection. If the provincial government does not start the process, will the Belybridge be connected here or not? Locals are doubting that.
