Online payment has started at the Transport Management Office in Koshi Province. Home Affairs and Law Minister Revati Raman Bhandari formally launched the online payment service at the Transport Management Office in Itahari on Monday.

Minister Bhandari informed that the online payment service was started at the office in Itahari on Monday. After the online payment service was started, the customers were freed from the complicated process of having to stand in line for hours to pay. He claimed that no middleman is needed in the transport office of Koshi province and the service users can do their work easily.

Minister Bhandari said that this online payment system, which was started by Koshi Province for the first time in Nepal, is expected to increase transparency and efficiency. Under Transport Management Office Koshi, services are provided from 8 offices in seven districts namely Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Ilam, Dhankuta, Udaipur and Okhaldhunga.
