Two teenagers were injured in a stabbing incident in Dhankuta. According to the police, 17-year-old Ayush Rai and Kushal Rai were stabbed in the incident which took place at 11.30 pm on Monday near the Thursday Haat in Dhankuta Municipality-5.
Kushal's head and back and Ayush's neck and left arm are said to be injured. Among the injured, Kushal was taken to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan after first treatment at the district hospital for further treatment. It is said that Ayush is being treated at the district hospital.
Police arrested 19-year-old Rusuk Neva Khadgi of Dhankuta-6 Nashal Chowk and 18-year-old Lajihang Limbu of Dhankuta-7 involved in the incident. Police mentioned that Khadgi was arrested near Nashal Chowk and Limbu near Shiva temple.
The police said that the process of legal action has been initiated against both the arrested persons in the custody of the district police office.
