After about four months, air flights have started again at the Suketar airport here. The regular flight was stopped from the last week of December due to a problem with two planes of Nepal Airlines Corporation flying to Suketar Airport.

According to Suketar Airport, the ship carrying five passengers from Kathmandu took six people, four male and two female passengers from Taplejung to Kathmandu.
Due to the suspension of air service for a long time, domestic and foreign tourists and common people were not able to take air service . A few years ago, Sita Air and Tara Air flew in this airport during tourist season. Currently they have stopped the service .
