One person died and two others were injured in a motorcycle accident in Katari municipality-4 Musahari tol of Udaipur.

The accident took place on Thursday afternoon when a motorcycle numbered Pradesh 2-01-003 P 5422, which was going to Sindhuli from Katari, hit a bicycle coming from the opposite direction. DSP Kedarman Dong, Information Officer of District Police Office, Udaipur said that 71-year-old Amar Bahadur Sunuwar, resident of Sindhuli, Dudhauli Municipality 5 Gharithumsi, died in the accident. 

Sunuwar, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at Katari Hospital, the police said. The injured driver of the motorcycle, 23-year-old Anant Magar from Geruwa, Katari Municipality-6, and a person sitting behind the motorcycle are being treated at the Katari Hospital. 

Police said that the accident happened when a speeding motorcycle hit a bicycle that was crossing the road.
