72-year-old Lakshmi Prasad Yongya of Panchthar Hillihang-7 Bharpa, who absconded after Kitani was accused of murder, has been arrested 11 years after the incident.

Fiparani Limbu, the wife of the deceased, filed a complaint at the District Police Office Panchthar on 8th November 2070 saying that he had killed the local Bir Bahadur Yongya after beating him. In the

complaint, it is mentioned that Lakshmi Prasad killed Bir Bahadur after beating him at 8 am on 28th of November 070. 11 years after the murder, he was arrested by a team led by Police Inspector Binalal Sah (Teli) of District Police Office Panchthar and handed over to the Panchthar District Court and the investigation was started with an extension of 5 days. The police said that he was arrested from the headquarters of Fidim.

According to Police Inspector Binalal Teli, who is also the Information Officer of the District Police Office, Panchthar, the deceased Bir Bahadur was 50 years old and the accused Lakshmi Prasad was 61 years old at the time of the incident. Currently, Lakshmi has reached 72 years.
