After three months of closure, flights have started at Taksar airport in Bhojpur municipality-12 here.
Prakash Khadka, station chief of Nepal Airlines Corporation Bhojpur, informed that the aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation started flying at the airport which was closed since last December. According to him, there will be flights in Bhojpur according to the new schedule.
Since the year 2035, flights have been started here, and only Nepal Airlines Corporation ships have been serving here. Other aircraft do not take off at the airport which has a runway of 545 meters length and 20 meters width.
When the flight was stopped, patients and passengers who were referred from the district hospital to Kathmandu were killed. According to the corporation, one of the two small planes of the corporation is being repaired and it will be easy to fly after the repair is completed.
