The newly built police station building has been inaugurated in Rawabesi rural municipality-2 Kharpa. The newly constructed building was inaugurated by Koshi Police Chief Deputy Inspector General of Police Rajan Adhikari on Sunday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Khotang Prateek Bisht said that the building was constructed at a cost of 2 crore 95 lakh 32 thousand. A police station was established in the year 2069 in the old building of Kharpa VDC.

The newly constructed two-and-a-half-storey building has 11 rooms including chief office room, female and male detention rooms with toilet facilities, communication rooms, female and male barracks with toilets, office chief washroom, and entertainment hall.

Rawabesi rural municipality president Fatik Kumar Shrestha, vice president Kaushila Gurung, chief district officer Narhari Ghimire, chief of all security agencies of the district and others were present in the program.
