The sisters who were standing on the side of the road were killed when a jeep collided with them on the road section leading to Triyuga Bus Park near DMgate, Gaighat, Udaipur headquarters.
Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police Kedarman Dong informed that the deceased were 14-year-old Anukumari Das and 12-year-old Devikumari Das, who were living in Gaighat Bazar, Saptari's Rajviraj permanent home.

18-year-old Nirjal Katuwal of Triyuga municipality-9 Garoon, the jeep driver, has been detained by the police. Police said that the Jeep belongs to Gaighat Himsikhar Furniture Industry.
