Preparations for the 5th international invitational Panchthar Gold Cup, which will start on Saturday, have been completed.
The organizer Panchthar Club has informed that the host Panchthar Club and Intra Pathri Football Club Morang will compete in the opening match at 2:00 pm at the playground of Phidim Secondary School. Kamal Tumrok, President of Panchthar Club, informed that the preparations including parafit management and leveling of the ground for the
competition have been completed. 8 teams are participating in the
competition, including 6 teams from Nepal's A Division and 6 departmental teams and one team from India.
Chairman Tumrok informed that the winners of this edition will be given trophies, medals and certificates along with 11 lakh 1 thousand 111 cash. The runner-up will receive 555,555 cash . The
game will be held at the playground of Fidim Secondary School . In each match of the
competition, Man of the Match, Man of the Series, Rising Player, Best Goalkeeper, High Scorer, Best Defender, Best Midfielder and Best Coach will be awarded a prize of Rs 5,500 each, according to the organizer. In
competition, 128 players and 200 spectators including officials will be insured for accidents, the organizers have also said.
