Four hundred and fifty-six households are affiliated to the eco tea producer cooperative organization located in Kolbung, Rong Rural Municipality-4. Among them, 115 families are engaged in commercial tea cultivation and 80 families have started informally.
The families of other members belonging to the cooperative are partly doing diversified farming. Last year, after the rural municipality provided training and subsidies through cooperatives to promote Beyiketi, the farmers here became attracted to tea and Beyiketi.
