Pemwa Chiring Sherpa, estimated to be 60-65 years old, from Solukhumbu, a dependent, was found dead in Halesi temple premises. He has been living in the temple premises for the past two years and was found dead in Halesi on Thursday. He was found dead in the eastern hallway of Sanam Chhiring Sherpa's house, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Pratik Bista of District Police Office Khotang.

His body has been brought to District Hospital Diktel for post-mortem. But DSP Bista said that the autopsy could not be done as the relatives were not found.

DSP Bista says that if the next of kin is not found, after completing the legal process, an autopsy will be done and the municipality will be handed over for Sadgad. "The relatives of the deceased have not been found," he said.
