The agitating group has claimed that the government suppressed them out of fear, but their victory is certain. Earlier, four points were put forward to sit in the talks called by the government. The first condition is that there should be a ministerial-level negotiation committee and an official invitation letter should be sent for negotiations. During the same movement, the arrestees from Taplejung, Sunsari and other places have to be unconditionally released and curfew should be lifted, cable car construction work should be stopped and all construction materials should be returned from the construction site, contractors, workers and laborers should be returned and armed and public police should be withdrawn from Mukkumlung area. Among these, the condition of suspending the work has been made by the government negotiation committee, while the injunction has been withdrawn.

Premprasad Bhattarai, the coordinator of the government negotiation committee and the joint secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, called for negotiations with the condition of suspending the construction of the cable car. The government has not responded to the condition.
