On the occasion of Army Day, Durgadal Gulm of Nepali Army has offered salute at Chandeshwar Dham Siddhidanda. Every year, the army reaches here and offers a salute as well as performing a special puja.
On the occasion of Mahashivratri and 262nd Army Day, Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police and National Service Dal (NCC) teams marched with bands and instruments. Chief District Officer Netra Prasad Sharma, Gulmapati Senani Vikram Khadka of Durgadal Gulm, District Police Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police Ravi Rawal, Gulmapati Armed Police Deputy Superintendent Naresh Marhajan of Armed Police Force Kanchenjunga Gulm and others participated in the
program.
Since 2064, Gulm in Taplejung has been offering salute to Siddhidanda every year on Army Day. Located at a distance of about one and a half kilometers from the headquarters, Fungling, there is a special worship on the day of Shivratri. The Chandeshwar Dham Protection Committee has performed puja.
