The road has been blocked since Monday morning due to a landslide in Bhotkhola of Khandbari Kimathanka road section under Koshi highway.

The chairman of Bhotkhola Rural Municipality, Wang Cheder Bhote, said that a landslide occurred in the Dhig Danda section between Hatia and Hunggung in Bhotkhola this morning. According to him, the road has been blocked after a huge stone fell from 15 meters above.

Landslide occurred at a distance of one hundred and nine kilometers from Khandbari. After the landslide, the means of transport coming from Bhotkhola to Khandbari have not been able to cross. Vehicles from Khandbari are also stuck on the road. Chairman Bhote has demanded the North South Koshi road plan to remove the landslide. The landslide has buried about 30 meters of the road.
