Leaking gas cylinder in Hallesi caused fire, loss of more than 73 million

Paruhang Hotel of Bharansher Rai, which is connected to Airakh Rai's house, suffered partial damage to the second and third floors of the Charate Paving Building.

Kamal Giri, spokesperson of Halesi Tuwachung Municipality and Ward President of Ward No. 7 Mahadevasthan informed that although there were no human casualties in the fire, a large amount of wealth and material materials were destroyed. "Everyone's help was available in time to control the fire. Even though it happened at night, we managed to prevent human casualties," he said. However, we managed to bring the fire under control after about 4 and a half hours by using the available resources and tools," he said. "The fire has caused great damage. We cannot provide relief to the fire victims as much as there is damage. However, coordination is being done with the Minister of Home Affairs, related ministries, etc. We are trying to apply bandages for the fire victims as soon as possible.'

Expressing grief over the incident of fire in Hallesi, various agencies have drawn the attention of the relevant agencies to provide immediate compensation for the victims of the fire. Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dalal and others have drawn the attention of the relevant agencies to arrange immediate relief for the fire victims.
