The police shot and arrested two Indian drug dealers in the inner road section of Kankai Municipality-4.

Last night, 28-year-old Anjar Alam and his brother Yusuf Alam, 19, who are residents of Digal Bank police station in the state of Bihar, India, were arrested after shooting, Krishna Bahadur Chand, information officer of the district police office, informed. 

They were transporting drugs on a motorcycle numbered VR 37 AA 8498. He said that when the police stopped and searched both of them, they had to shoot at them when they tried to run away.

The police fired four rounds in the air and arrested both of them. During this, the motorcycle driver Anjar Alam was shot under the leg. Information Officer Chand said that 63 mg of banned drug Brown Sugur was found with them.

Injured Anjar is being treated at Bhadrapur Provincial Hospital.
