One person died in a road accident this morning at Kankai Municipality-1 Juke culvert on the East-West highway.
According to the police, 50-year-old Hariprasad Sitaula of Jhapa Rural Municipality-6 Sharnamati was seriously injured when the motorcycle No. 4P 950, which was going from west to east, went out of control and hit the diversion.
Sitaula, who was injured due to head and forehead injuries, was sent to BNDC Hospital in Birtamod for treatment. After being taken to the hospital, the doctor said that he had died when he was examined by the district police office.
