A pick-up accident occurred on the way to Tapethok Hellok from the headquarters of Fungling to Paktanglung Rural Municipality-4. 5 people were injured in the accident. District Hospital Taplejung has referred them for further treatment.

According to District Hospital Information Officer Vijaya Rai, all the injured have been referred after initial treatment. On Saturday evening, five people were injured in a pick-up accident of Ba 03-001 J 415 on the Olangchungola road section. 

They were brought to the hospital for treatment on Saturday night. Some were taken for treatment at night and some on Sunday morning.

According to the district police office, those injured in the accident are 50-year-old Dipendra Limbu, 18-year-old Roshni Limbu, 32-year-old Dinesh Limbu, Surendra Limbu's 13-month-old daughter Bhavna Limbu and ward no. Sesehang Limbu is the 14-month-old daughter of Yunisa Limbu of 6.

Pritisingh Limbu, the driver of the pick-up vehicle, which had an accident due to brake failure, has given an initial statement to the police. He has been detained by Tapethok police station.
