Police arrested 52-year-old Kumar Rai, a resident of Thumvedin, Taplejung Pathibhara Yangwarak Rural Municipality-6, on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl.
On the basis of a complaint that Kumar forced the girl inside the room of Mechi Poultry Firm located in Haldibari rural municipality-4, the police stationed from Haldibari police station arrested him. The police said that they are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
