The Khandbari-Kimathanka road section in Bhotkhola rural municipality-3 Sembung of Sankhuwasabha under the North-South Koshi road which was blocked by a dry landslide has resumed operation after a day.
Naresh Jirel, Information Officer of the North-South Road Office, said that the Khandbari-Kimathanka road in Bhotkhola-3 Sembung Danda was opened after a day.
The dry landslide that fell on Friday afternoon blocked more than 20 meters of unpaved road. Jirel, the information officer of the North-South Road Office, said that the section of the road, which was blocked by a dry landslide with large stones falling from the road, has been restored since this morning.
Vehicles traveling to Bhotkhola Rural Municipality were stopped after the road was blocked. Bhotkhola road section of Koshi highway is blocked from time to time due to continuous dry landslides in that area.
