Along with normal rain, there has been snowfall in the high Himalayan region of the district since Tuesday evening. Life has been affected due to snowfall in the northern high areas of the district, including Pathibhara Temple, a pilgrimage site at an altitude of 3,794 meters.

According to Milan Katuwal, Habaldar of the police station at Phedi, it is snowing under the footpath leading to the Pathibhara temple along with the settlement of Phedi above it. He said that even if there is snowfall, it is normal in people's life.

This time after a long time there has been normal rain in some parts of the district. Farmers who planted winter crops were facing problems due to lack of rain for a long time after the onset of winter. Farmers have said that when rains and snowfall start, it will bring some relief.

Prajin Hangbang, Executive Director of Pathibhara Area Development Committee, said that the number of pilgrims arriving in Pathibhara has decreased with the increasing cold in the past few days. After the annual snowfall, the arrival of internal religious tourists in Pathibhara increases.
