Due to the earthquake that occurred on Tuesday morning, two houses were damaged in Thulung Dudhkoshi rural municipality and Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality.

Thulung Dudhkoshi-7 Deusa Luruwa's 50-year-old Hark Bahadur Khatri's two-storied house with a stone-clay roof and a stone roof was damaged. 

Khumbu Pasanglhamu Rural Municipality-5 Deputy Superintendent of Police Dwarika Prasad Ghimire informed that the stone, mud and tin roofed two-storied house of Anangima Sherpa living in Helajung was damaged. According to him, a police team has been dispatched to the scene. Definite details about the damage are yet to come. 

Detailed information about the damage caused in the district due to the earthquake has not been received. Chief District Officer Anoj Kumar Ghimire said that all mechanisms including the police have been kept ready for possible rescue and relief.
