A motorcyclist died in an accident in Biratnagar on Friday evening and two others were injured.
DSP Ved Prakash Joshi, spokesperson of Morang Police, has informed that the accident occurred between a truck and a motorcycle with Indian number plates on Biratnagar-14, ICP Road.
An Indian truck loaded with coal (JH 15 J 7103) and a motorcycle with state number 1-02-041 P 1321 collided with each other. 16-year-old Suraj Thakur of Biratnagar-15, a motorcyclist, died after being taken to Koshi Hospital for treatment.
Among the injured, 16-year-old Aditya Sah and 18-year-old Vikas Kumar Yadav are in normal condition.
After the accident, the truck carrying coal was overturned on the roadside. The police said that the search for the truck driver is continuing as he is absconding.
