One person has died after being injured in a jeep accident in Bokhim of the district. Out of 10 people injured in the accident, three people who are in critical condition have been sent to Kathmandu for further treatment.
Police Inspector Deepak Shrestha, Information Officer of the District Police Office informed that 11 occupants of the jeep were injured in an accident in Bhojpur Municipality-5, Bokhim on Thursday morning when a jeep number 1-02-002 Ch 6923, which was going from Bhojpur to Chakhewa of Temkaimaiung rural municipality, was injured. One injured person died during treatment. He informed that Jhamka Bahadur Ghale of Gauradah Municipality-7 of Jhapa was among the deceased.
Lakpadiki Sherpa of Bhojpur municipality-5, Ramkumar Rai of the same ward and Ihayarana Subba of Dharan Sub-metropolitan-2 of Sunsari were sent to KMC hospital in Kathmandu for further treatment by helicopter, Police Inspector Shrestha said. The other injured are being treated at District Hospital Bhojpur.
He killed 66-year-old Jhamka Bahadur Ghale of Jhapa Gouradah, 58-year-old Devikala Ghale, 42-year-old Navin Kumar Rai of Elam, his 31-year-old son Nigel Rai, 35-year-old Lakpadiki Sherpa of Bhojpur Bokhim, 40-year-old Junuka Rai of Bomim, Ram Kumar Rai, 40-year-old driver of Dharan. Sudip Limbu, the 41-year-old prince of Bokhim Rai, 38-year-old Iyaharana Subba of Dharan and 33-year-old Menuka Ghale of Ilam informed that they were injured.
