A sumo accident has occurred while coming from Kathmandu. Tata Sumo No. 1 J 7181 had an accident in Ranchi of Kepilasgarhi rural municipality-3 Baspani on Wednesday around 3 pm.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Pratik Bista, 73-year-old Durga Prasad Rai of Kepilasgarhi-1 Phedi was injured in the accident. Bista said that the vehicle backed up from the place where it was stopped and fell down about 200 meters. According to him, the vehicle was driven by 36-year-old Satrudhan Rai of Ainselukhark rural municipality-1. The driver was outside the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Eyewitness Ramesh Pariyar said that the injured are being treated by health workers at Baspani health post.
