The police have arrested 2 Indian citizens who were involved in fraud by luring different people and made it public.

Two Indian citizens were arrested on the charge of cheating her younger sister Jayanta Karki who came to Hira Karki's house in Solududhakund municipality-4, Bagwani and made it public at a press conference on Thursday.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Dwarika Prasad Ghimire, 32-year-old Ajay Kumar and 19-year-old Karan Kumar, both residents of Saharsa Purushottampur, India, are accused of robbing Jayantha's gold Sikri, ring and ring on the pretext of cleaning the gold jewellery.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ghimire said that the team deployed from Solukhumbu District Police Office arrested the accused. After the arrest, the police recovered materials used to clean gold, chemicals and the bags of both of them, which were used in fraud. 

Police Inspector Laxman Giri, who has taken charge of the ongoing investigation, said that the District Court Solukhumbu has extended the deadline of five days to the accused.
