One person died when a bus and a motorcycle collided at Telibari in Jhapa's Mechinagar Municipality-11 on Tuesday afternoon.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Krishan Kumar Chand informed that 55-year-old Kisan Neupane of Bhadrapur municipality-10 died in the accident.

Telibari Bagmati PR-01- 006 B 4909 located under the East-West highway and motorcycle number May 10 P 3572 collided with each other and the motorcyclist Neupane was seriously injured. He was taken to B&C Hospital Birtamod for treatment and the doctor declared Neupane dead on arrival at the hospital.

Bus, bus driver Vijayakumar Yadav, 42 years old from Udaipur Chaudandigarhi municipality-6 and motorcycle are under the control of District Police Office Dhulabari, according to District Police Office Jhapa .
