18 ancient manes have been reconstructed in Pike area, a tourist town of Solukhumbu, a Himalayan district. On the way to the touristic PK area within Solududhakunda municipality-10, the religious and historical monuments built in ancient times have been reconstructed under the leadership of the locals.
Under the leadership of PK Tapting Social Service, the archaeological heritage was restored by collecting money from the local people. Built hundreds of years ago by intellectual leaders who came from Tibet, the temples had become dilapidated due to frequent earthquakes and lack of protection. The attractive tourist destination of Lower Solu, Pike Danda trail, has been restored with the restoration of the area's beauty.
It has taken 3 years to repair the historical mane. "We have just completed the repair campaign that we started 3 years ago," Nwang Phuri Sherpa, president of PK Tapting Social Service Organization, told Kantipur. 45 lakh rupees have been spent on the repair work. "We were able to collect this amount of money by collecting support from everyone who was born in this area and living abroad and the repair work was possible," he said. Solududhakund Municipality has provided 5 lakhs for this work. According to the organization, the list of donors who helped in the mane construction work is mentioned in the inscription. 
According to the organization, the walls, which are a symbol of the faith of the Buddhists in this area, have cultural and touristic importance, and have been repaired because they are in a dilapidated condition. Nimti Sherpa, the general secretary of the organization, said that Mane was reconstructed to honor the ancestors and protect the history.
