The Karnali Highway has been blocked due to a landslide that occurred last night at Gaganekhola in Kalikot.
Saurabh Kumar Singh, Information Officer at the Road Division Office Jumla, said that the road was blocked after a landslide at Gaganekhola following continuous rainfall. According to the office, work to clear the landslide has been underway since 3:00 am. He stated that necessary coordination is ongoing with the Road Division Surkhet for this purpose.
The office has informed everyone through a public notice to travel with caution during the rainy season and to avoid traveling at night.
