A woman who was injured in a fire that broke out in Chhepka, Nalgad Municipality-2, Jajarkot, has died during treatment.
Three people were injured when a gas cylinder leaked at the house of local Thalu Prasad Jaisi on Sunday morning, Chaitra 10. Among the injured, Thalu Prasad's 42-year-old wife Maya Jaisi died during treatment at the Kirtipur Jalan Hospital in Kathmandu this morning, said District Police Office Jajarkot Information Officer Ekka Bahadur Nepali.
Two other injured in the fire, Rupa Jaisi and Thalu Prasad's son Ganesh Gautam, are undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.
The injured were rescued by a Nepal Army helicopter and taken to Nepalgunj. Since treatment was not possible there either, they were taken to Kathmandu for further treatment.
