Police Inspector Devraj Bhattarai, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Salyan, informed that Top Bahadur Thapa, 52, of Thara, Thage Gharti, and Karna Bahadur Pun, 29, died on the spot. According to him, 14 of the injured in the accident are being treated at a hospital in Mehlakuna. The condition of 6 of the 14 is critical.
The jeep with L.P. 001 Ja 0271 number, which was going from Bangad Kupinde Municipality-8 Thara to Kalimati Rural Municipality-1 Laxmipur, lost control and crashed at Dhaire, Bangad Kupinde-12 around 5:30 pm on Saturday. There were 18 people on board the jeep.
