The deceased are Bhim Bahadur Adhikari, 32, of Patarkhola, Hima-6, and ambulance driver Shakti Bahadur Shahi, 26, of Marchigaun, Hima-7.

According to the Kalikot District Police, the ambulance fell 25 meters off the road. The ambulance was carrying a 71-year-old patient from Hima-6, Kal Bahadur Adhikari. He had been admitted to the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Jumla, since last Chaitra 20.
