Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has completed the construction of the Kohalpur-Surkhet 132 kV transmission line.
The construction of the Kohalpur-Surkhet-Dailekh 132 kV transmission line project, which is under construction with the joint investment of the Government of Nepal and the Nepal Electricity Authority, has been completed.

In order to integrate the transmission line into the national system, a 132 kV double circuit transmission line with a capacity of 132 kilovolts will be tested from Magh 16, he said. According to him, the transmission line will be put into operation after testing on the Banke, Bardiya and Surkhet routes.
The Authority has requested not to climb the transmission line towers, not to touch any objects, not to go around the towers, not to let livestock go near the towers, not to touch electrical structures with danger signs, and to warn children not to touch or go near the towers.
It has also been requested to inform the Authority or the nearest police station if any mistake is made or danger is seen during the test.
