Janga Bahadur Budha, 43, of Dangeshwor Rural Municipality-5, Dailekh, who was injured in a vehicle collision on Saturday morning, has died during treatment.
He was hit by a vehicle on the road of Tempo Park, Birendranagar Municipality-1.
According to the police, the drunken old man was seriously injured when an unknown vehicle hit him while he was sleeping on the road. He died while undergoing treatment at the provincial hospital, said Deepak Magarathi, Information Officer and Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Surkhet.
The police said that a search is underway for the vehicle that hit him.
