There is a problem of lack of food in three sales centers located in Upper Dolpa. There is food shortage in the sales center of Food Management and Trade Company Limited located in Dho, Saldang and Tinje in three municipalities.

Meanwhile, the Surkhet Regional Office of the Food Management and Trading Company has informed that sufficient food grains are available in the food depots and sales centers in all the districts of Karnali Province.

Regional head Keshavraj Budha said that there is food according to the quota at the local level and depot. According to him, although food grains will be sold and distributed in 51 places, currently only 42 places are being sold, while there are currently 15 depots and 28 sales centers in Karnali. According to him, there are eight branches and one regional office in the province.
